I had no idea about these until I got an email today saying JOotG was nominated in a couple of categories (?!). So umm...apparently there are the
Shimmer Awards, which I'm still reading about. Nominations are open currently, and categories are:

- Tear Jerker Award - Whether it was tears of sadness of tears of laughter. If it brought tears to your eyes then vote for it here.
Fragile Award - This award is for you're favorite Twilight story were the characters are all human
Tale Award - This is for a AU story that has you wanting more from Chapters 1 and 2
Newbie Awards - This is for a story that has just been posted and is brand new.
Reviewer Award - This is the award where the author of a Twilight story picks one of their most fateful reviewer.
Storyteller Award - This goes to the Author that has been able to capture your attention and keep it.
Kiss Award - For the best kissing scene in a story
Remeomorable Quote Award - For for the story and tell what quote you found to be memorable
Climax Award - For the Drama story that had or has us holding on for life.
UnderDog Award - This Award goes to an author that this is their first Twilight story they have ever written.
Citrus Award - For the love scene that not only heated us up, but fried our computer screens too. LOL
Cliffhanger Award - For the Angst story that had us saying oh my god!
Dazzled Moment Award - The story that hd the best dazzle moment by Edward or where Bella was able to dazzle Edward.
Rewind Award - This is for stories that are Pre-Twilight
The Shimmer Award
† - The Shimmer Award is an award that I will give out to the Story that stood out the most
Nominations are open June 26-July 17, and voting begins July 21 with winners posted July 28.

And umm...JOotG is up for the Tear Jerker and Fragile awards.
