| Title: At the Deep End Author: Naelany Summary: After an encounter at camp many years ago Jasper thought he would never see Edward again but little did he know who his new teammate would turn out to be....... Rating: M Why I'm rec'ing it: To be honest, I've become a bit addicted to E/J stories when they're well-written. This one has the geeky quality of the boys communicating through IM a good bit, and I've fallen in love with that. Jasper is intensely afraid of how his parents will react, despite being 26 years old, and that causes a bit of angst for him. It's nice to see a slash where there are some real concerns about how the outside world will react. Emmett is lovable in it, and that's always important to me. Bella and Edward are best friends, and strangely, that's working for me. I like this Bella. She has a lot of aspects of canon Bella, such as being caring and concerned. Edward is an IT guy, which gets me all kinds of hot LOL, and he and Jasper volunteer their time at a pool teaching kids to swim as well as playing water polo. Hot. Find it here: At the Deep EndNOTE: Moved this here from the regular rec section so anyone who is not interested in slash doesn't have to weed through | |
